Our customers
Our
aim is to provide for computer and communication tools that disabled
people need or like to use.
Our experience shows that our goal can only be reached when we
co-operate with other companies, institutions and organisations. So
there are several groups of people that can be thought of as our
customers.
- Private
customers
Private customers are often therapists, such as independent speech-trainers. They buy products, mainly software, that we have developed in the past.
Note: We don't have a shop where you can take a look at our products. Our software can be ordered by phone, fax or e-mail.
Symbol for Windows can be ordered from one of our dealers. - Companies and institutions
Quite often we develop a software tool that another company wants to sell or use in a bigger program. We undertake the research & development part of the project. These projects usually have a relatively long duration, from a few months to a year or longer. - National and international R&D projects
The Dutch government and the European Community can't be called our customers, but they stimulate various new developments. In subsidized projects we work together with universities and other knowledge centres to find new ways in software technology.
Eventually each project leads to the development and introduction of new products, with which we can reach our goal: to provide disabled people with the computer and communication tools they like or need to use. - Health ensurance
Sometimes health care services and companies are looking for new ways to optimize the working conditions for disabled staff members. The tools they order, are to be paid for by ensurance companies. As experts we can advise and assist them on the technical side of things.
